The Nanaimo RCMP Serious Crime Unit continue to investigate her disappearance and believe she met with foul play, and are treating it as a homicide. Even with Nanaimo experiencing an unprecedented increase in homicides, which require significant resources to investigate, this investigation has continued to be a priority with their Unit.
